My art and process.

So I’ve decided to do portraits of the people that own the quirky collections.

I ended up drawing this guy on a whim. I saw a man wearing a sweater like this one the other day and it stuck in my mind. There are still things that I need to work on like the hand and some other stuff but I’ll get to it.

Does he look like someone who would collect terrariums? Is the sweater too busy?  Does his style fit with the terrariums, should he be more realistic looking? So much to still work out. We’ll see.

Pie making ingredients and items from my magazine illustration.

The pie spots from my magazine illustration for class.

I had a t-shirt design assignment for class, these are two versions of it using the threadless templates. Ham-ster sandwich and a jar of hamnnaise.

My IKEA Ad for class.

The Breast Cancer Foundation in Singapore used a very creative way to create awareness for breast cancer.

These body paint print ads read “Are you obsessed with the right things”, indicating that women are generally obsessed with smaller things when there are bigger issues to be worried about.

I had a decorative assignment in my illustration class and couldn’t resist the opportunity to do another octopus related artwork. These are a few of the color variations with the same pattern. The one I ended up choosing was the bottom left one and in my mind it would become a fabric print.
